The sixty-one lucky gals to make the final of Miss England 2011 have been announced, and they all have one thing in common.
What's that, you ask? A love of corned beef pasties? A self-deprecating wit? A disproportionate belief in the medicinal properties of tea? Of course not. It's that they're all heart-stompingly gorgeous.

We're not sure how we feel about the whole beauty pageant thing here at Asylum. I mean, we like girls in bikinis as much as the next sucker, but isn't it all a bit, well... seedy?
Don't worry - the girls aren't just judged on their looks, but on their achievements (Rissikat, 3rd from right, 'acting'), talents (Alexandra, 4th from right, 'rock climbing') and ambitions (Amy, front right, 'promote healthy and positive attitudes that contain ambition and self belief').
Ok, so they're not quite 'Combat Barbie' from Miss England 2009, but this sort of makes it all all right.
