Miss Russia 2011 looks good in traditional dress


MissMiss Russia 2011 Natalia Gantimurova, who is in Vietnam for some charity work, tried on the Vietnamese traditional dress yesterday and looked beautiful in it.
Gantimurova said she was thrilled to talk to Vo Viet Chung, one of Vietnam’s most famous fashion designers, about ao dai. The Russian beauty spent three hours learning about ao dai and how to move about in it.
During the meeting, Chung also presented Gantimurova with 3 special pieces from his latest collection “Hoa tiet Phuong Nam” (Southern Patterns).
Accompanied by Anastasia Mashukova and Yana Dubnik, two runners-up of the contest, Gantimurova will attend cultural and charity events in Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi until July 28.
Gantimurova, born in 1991, is 1.81 m tall and is currently studying International Relations at Russian State University for Humanities.
She will represent Russia in the coming Miss Universe 2011 to be held in Brazil this August.
Last June, Miss Russia 2010 Irina Antonenko and two other Top 10 contestants also visited Vietnam and did charity activities in Hanoi and HCMC.
