Miss World 2011 Ivian Sarcos and the Miss World Team arrived in Ghana few hours ago with her two runner ups, Miss Philippines and Miss Puerto Rico, the first and second runner ups respectively.
Also with the entourage included Chairman and Chief Executive of the Miss World organization Julia Morley.
They were welcomed at the VVIP lounge at the Kotoka International Airport this evening by Alfred Oko Vanderpuye, the Mayor of Accra.
The Venezuelan queen who was crowned as the queen of the oldest surviving major international beauty pageant is in Ghana for a 5-day historic visit which forms part of plans by the Miss World Organisation to support winner of the Beauty with a Purpose (BWP) award.
Miss Ghana 2010 Miss Stephanie Adwoa Adjeiwaa Karikari jointly won the ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ honour with Miss Indonesia.
As part of the reasons in Ghana, a charity Ball will be held on the 22nd of May 2012 at the Banquet Hall, State House to help raise funds for Miss Ghana 2010, Stephanie Karkari’s nursery project.
