Kate Middleton And Prince William's First Wedding Anniversary today

UPDATE: TA DA! We've already been treated to TWO waxworks of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge today - one in London and the other in Amsterdam - and now the New York replicas have been unveiled [above]. This time, Kate Middleton is swathed in that glorious lilac gown by Alexander McQueen that she wore to the BAFTA event in Los Angeles.Wax figures of Prince William and Catherine Duchess of Cambridge Prince William and Catherine Duchess of Cambridge waxworks unveiled at Madame Tussauds,

And there's more to come! To celebrate the Duke and Duchess's first wedding anniversary, a FOURTH wax figure will be unveiled at Blackpool later this month showcasing Kate's sparkly pink Jenny Packham number. Of course, there couldn't be just ONE outfit for our Middy, thrifty though she is! But which is your fave?

Ah look, it's the lovely Kate Middleton having her glossy hair groomed by a loyal assistant. Doesn't she look as dazzling as ever? We see she's continuing her fondess for wardrobe recycling by cracking out that sapphire blue dress by Issa that she first wore to announce her engagement all those months ago — and she's even chosen to wear the very same necklace. But wait a doppelganging minute — this isn't our Kate! It's a spookily accurate waxwork of the Duchess of Cambridge that's just been unveiled at Madame Tussauds in London alongside her waxwork hubby, Prince William. Isn't the likeness uncanny (except perhaps for William’s impressively lush thatch of hair)? Brill skills, waxworkers!

The royal couple have been immortalised at the costly sum of nearly £1million — GULP — and replicas are popping up all over the world! Yep, Wills and Kate waxworks were also unveiled in New York and Amsterdam with each figure — costing £150,000 — portrayed in a different outfit linked to a memorable Royal event.

For the Netherlands replica [above], the DoC is dressed in another of her famous frocks: the black lace Temperley London gown she wore to the 'War Horse' premiere on the eve of her 30th birthday in January this year. The custom-made black lace gown was inspired by the Brit designer's Long Ariel Gown that featured in the Pre Fall 2012 collection. Meanwhile, Wills is looking tres dapper in a black tux and bow-tie.
