Miss Pakistan is title given in beauty contest held in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada which is also known as Miss Pakistan World. This beauty Pageant is for Pakistani women and the winner represent Pakistan in Miss Earth of Miss World events.Miss Pakistan World was founded in 2002 by Toronto based women Sonia Ahmad and its first name was Miss Canada Pakistan.Beauty contests are controversial in Pakistan and hence it never organized in Pakistan due to security and other concerns. Even some human right activists in Pakistan are against this contest because it is harmful for their social work in Pakistan. This competition has nothing to do with Pakistani government or Pakistan based entity because it is held by overseas Pakistanis and participants of this controversial beauty contest are also overseas Pakistanis.
